Good morning and welcome back to Monday. We're kicking off the work week with much cooler weather, some gusty winds, and a chance of light rain. Expect cloudy skies today.

Gusty winds will prevail over the mountains and deserts across the Southland. Forecasters say winds will peak around the evening until early tomorrow.

Highs will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s from the coast to the valleys across the Southland. Low desert will top out at mid 80s. Meanwhile, the high desert will be cool with highs in the upper 60s.
